All computer workshops will be held at Weber State University which is a 5-10 minute drive from the conference center. The cost for each computer workshop is just $30 and includes transportation between the conference center and the university.

- Create an Educational Website with Blogger
To follow along “hands on” in this session, it is best to have a free Google (gmail) account already set up and accessible. You will learn how to use Google’s Blogger tool to create and maintain an easily updated web site. You can add images and video, post regular updates and even allow viewers to submit comments. Several privacy options allow you to publish your thoughts to the world, or restrict them to only those with a password. - Photoshop – BYO and We Will Give IT a Makeover
Do you have a photo that needs a makeover? Bring it to this workshop and we'll use Photoshop's retouch tools to give it a makeover. Hands-on work with the following Photoshop tools and commands : Crop Tool; Levels & Curves; Hue/Saturation, Reduce Noise & Smart Sharpen filters; retouch tools such as the Healing Brush, Patch Tool, Clone Stamp Tool; and the Camera Raw Plugin.

- Social Networking and Web Conferencing with Google Plus
Google Plus is the new FaceBook (only better). Whether you’ve been a FB user or resisted they hype, you’ll want to see what you can do with Google’s social networking tool. Two special features of “Plus” include easier to understand “circles” that give you options to direct information and images to specific groups of people that you organize into “circles.” Circles can be inside of each other, overlapping or mutually exclusive. Another feature you’ll love is the “Hangout” where you and up to nine others can instantly and easily hang out in a video chat room with all the benefits of face to face communication from wherever you are in the world. To follow along “hands on” in this session, you’ll need to be able to login to a Google (gmail) account. - Mac for PC Users
If you are a PC user and want to learn how to use a Mac, this is your workshop. You will become familiar with the anatomy of a Mac, access apps from the Dock, manage folders and files from the Finder, and become more efficient using gestures and keyboard shortcuts.

The mobile web has seen tremendous growth. Mobile browsers now support many of the new HTML5 features. In this session you will learn how to leverage the new HTML5 features to build mobile applications that will work on iOS and Android devices. See what’s great in Windows 8. According to the Windows Design Team, Windows 8 has been "reimagined from the chipset to the user experience." Windows 8 features a new user interface similar to that in Windows Phone. This new interface is designed to better suit touchscreen input and has new features such as geo-location services, Windows apps, cloud computing tie-in, and multitasking enhancements.
